The glossary of terms below can help you understand some things you may not already know in order to help you with the booking inquiry process, etc.
DEFINITIONS: (specifically pertaining to TnZ Magic)
Basic Ballooning: Balloon twisting that typically uses only one or two balloons twisted to “resemble” things like dogs, turtles, giraffes, rabbits, swords, hats, etc.
Basic Face Painting: Face paint designs that are painted on a single cheek or arm and resemble things like rainbows, spiders, balloons, the sun, penguins, butterflies, lady bugs, snakes, hearts, cats, etc.
Bubble Party: An added feature to children’s parties that include a professional bubble machine that produces large quantities of bubbles and music that the kids can play in and dance to. It is a segment of the party that lasts about 20-25 minutes extra.
Cabaret Magic: A performance for an audience that is larger than a close-up magic audience but smaller than a stage magic audience. It is also known as “platform magic”, since a small platform or stage is often used during this type of show. It is also known as “stand-up magic”, “club magic” or “parlor magic”.
Close-up Magic: Also known as “strolling”, “street magic”, “table hopping” or “mingle magic”. It is the type of magic that is typically performed for small groups of 1-10 people at a time, but as many as a few dozen with standing room (typically with street magic). Cards, coins, borrowed objects, cups and ball are just some of the items often seen used in close-up performances.

PA System: Zack Percell has a speaker/microphone system for every occasion, when necessary. No matter how big or small the event is, if needed, Zack will use one of his 6 high tech PA Systems. He will make certain that his audience has no problems hearing his voice. Some of Zack’s shows require music and sound effects. His systems will allow everyone to hear those things without the aid of a sound operator. Zack has a small PA mic system that he wears and is perfect for strolling, festival and street magic situations where large crowds may gather, or there is a lot of background noise or music. He also has large systems that can play for hundreds to thousands of people. All of his PA systems are battery powered and do not need an AC power outlet. They can be used anywhere! Outdoor birthday parties often require sound and Zack’s newest PA is perfect for that, too!
